The Retail Salesperson for Men’s Apparel delivers personalized service and cultivates and grows a customer following both in-store and digitally. They set and achieve sales goals using selling tools such as text and social media and provide confident style and fit guidance. The role supports department readiness through merchandising, stocking, order fulfillment, and may require flexibility to work in other departments and varied schedules.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve individual sales goals for in-store and digital channels
• Build and maintain lasting customer relationships and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Use texting and social media to engage customers and drive sales
• Provide styling and fit recommendations with honesty and confidence
• Fill orders, stock merchandise, re-merchandise displays, and perform price markdowns
• Keep the department customer-ready and assist with light cleaning tasks
• Occasionally perform duties in other departments as business needs require
