Summary

The Retail Sales - Shoes associate sells footwear in-store and digitally, using technology and social channels to meet sales goals. This role builds lasting customer relationships, provides styling and fit guidance, and helps keep the department customer-ready while supporting store needs across departments.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling, including text and social media
• Build and maintain customer relationships and grow a customer following
• Provide styling and fit advice and excellent customer service
• Maintain department standards by filling orders, restocking, re-merchandising, markdowns, and light cleaning
• Open Nordstrom Rewards accounts and support team needs across departments as required

Requirements

• Excellent communication and people skills with a self-motivated, goal-oriented approach
• Comfort using networking and technology to drive sales and engage customers
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work well on a team, and maintain a flexible schedule
• Physical ability to be on your feet for 6-8 hours, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds
