Summary

Salesperson role focused on selling shoes in-store and growing customer relationships both in person and digitally. The position requires meeting sales goals, providing styling and fit advice, and maintaining department presentation. Associates will support inventory tasks, order fulfillment, and deliver excellent customer service on a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling using tools such as texting and social media
• Build and maintain lasting customer relationships and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Provide styling guidance, fit recommendations, and exceptional customer service
• Fill orders, stock merchandise, re-merchandise displays, perform price markdowns, and perform light cleaning
• Collaborate with team members and occasionally perform duties in other departments as business needs require

Requirements

• Excellent communication and people skills with a customer-focused approach
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable using networking and technology to drive sales
• Ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability; schedule will vary based on business needs
• Physical ability to be in continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and use of hands
• Ability to regularly lift items up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
