Stylists complete Nordstrom training and use digital tools to engage customers and grow their personal business.

Responsibilities

• Provide confident, honest styling advice to help customers select pieces that complement their wardrobe.
• Create and maintain customer connections using in-store interactions and digital tools such as text, social media, and store apps.
• Drive sales by setting appointments, following up with customers, and promoting events and new arrivals.
• Collaborate with team members to keep the selling floor organized, welcoming, and visually appealing.
• Sell across departments and adapt to different styles and price points.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Styling and wardrobe knowledge with the ability to organize and advise on complete looks.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and motivation to build a personal business through appointments and outreach.
• Comfort leveraging social media and digital tools for customer engagement.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Physical ability to stand and move for 6-8 hours, perform frequent bending and reaching, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
