Summary

The Retail Salesperson sells women's apparel in-store and through digital channels, building lasting customer relationships and delivering personalized styling and service. This role focuses on meeting sales goals using in-person service, text and social media, and staying knowledgeable about product and fit. The schedule is variable and may require flexibility to support different departments.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital selling using available selling tools
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow a personal customer following
• Provide honest, confident feedback on style and fit and deliver excellent customer service
• Use networking and technology (text, social media) to engage customers and drive sales
• Keep the department customer-ready by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, and performing price markdowns and light cleaning
• Open new customer rewards program accounts to grow business
• Occasionally support duties in other departments as business needs require

Requirements

• Excellent communication and people skills with a customer-first approach
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment
• Interest and ability to use networking and technology to achieve sales goals
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment and follow through on commitments
• Flexible availability to work variable schedules based on business needs
• Ability to perform continuous movement for 6-8 hours, including bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds
