Summary

The Salesperson is passionate about fashion and styling and is responsible for cultivating and growing customer relationships both digitally and in-store. This role sets and achieves sales goals, provides styling and fit guidance, and helps maintain a customer-ready department through merchandising and inventory tasks. The position requires flexibility in scheduling and occasional work in other departments.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling, including use of text and social media.
• Build and maintain lasting customer relationships and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
• Provide excellent customer service and confident styling and fit recommendations.
• Maintain department presentation by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, and performing price markdowns and light cleaning.
• Collaborate with the team and be flexible to perform duties in other departments when needed.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and people skills with a self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset.
• Ability to use networking and technology to drive sales and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs and excel in a team environment.
• Physical ability to be continuously active for 6-8 hours, perform frequent bending and reaching, and lift items up to 25 pounds.
