Summary

The Salesperson helps customers find apparel that suits their style and needs, while building lasting relationships in-store and digitally. This role works toward sales goals and supports a customer-ready department.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling tools, including text and social media.
• Build customer relationships, provide service, and offer honest feedback on style and fit.
• Develop fashion and product knowledge and build customer following.
• Support department readiness by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, marking down prices, and light cleaning.
• Encourage enrollment in the Nordstrom Rewards program and work flexibly across departments as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and people skills, with a self-motivated, goal-oriented approach.
• Interest in using networking and technology to achieve sales goals.
• Ability to work well on a team, prioritize tasks, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability based on business needs.
• Ability to move continuously for 6-8 hours per shift, handle merchandise, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
