Summary

The Salesperson is passionate about fashion and styling and is responsible for cultivating and growing a customer following both digitally and in-store. You will set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling using tools such as text and social media, provide honest styling and fit advice, and build lasting customer relationships. The role also involves maintaining a customer-ready department through merchandising and inventory tasks. Schedule varies by week and the position may require flexibility to perform duties in other departments.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools including text and social media
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Provide confident, honest styling and fit guidance to customers
• Keep the department customer-ready by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, performing price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Be flexible to assist in departments other than the one hired into and work a variable schedule based on business needs

Requirements

• Excellent communication and people skills and the ability to excel in a team environment
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented focus with an interest in using networking and technology to achieve sales goals
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and maintain organization and follow through
• Physical ability to be on your feet for 6-8 hours with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
