The Sales Associate develops deep long lasting relationships with customers to drive sales service and loyalty in a luxury retail environment. This commission based role requires delivering extraordinary customer service meeting sales targets and building a personal client base while supporting store operations and merchandising.
Responsibilities
- Deliver extraordinary service to all customers
- Exceed sales and service goals and targets
- Build and maintain a loyal personal client base through acquisition and retention
- Attend product knowledge vendor and company educational sessions
- Perform floor recovery visual merchandising price changes and sales support tasks
- Communicate with personal clients via phone mail and electronic methods for events and follow up
- Resolve customer service issues and escalate to management as needed
- Comply with health and safety policies and requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a commission based luxury sales environment
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas
- Flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
- Strong collaboration and team orientation
- Ability to use social media to build personal brand and client engagement
- Skilled using multiple technology channels for client acquisition and retention
- Strong knowledge of current and emerging fashion trends
- Broad product knowledge across merchandise categories
- Proactive about staying informed on new merchandise deliveries
