Summary
Lead wholesale sales strategy for Womens Polo accounts across department stores, specialty, and online channels in North America, driving long-range growth, assortment planning, and cross functional collaboration to achieve financial targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze semi-annual financial plans covering sales, receipts, markdowns, and end of month stock to meet revenue and profitability goals
- Monitor weekly sales and stock performance and communicate business recaps to management and retail development
- Collaborate with regional merchandising and account planning to build seasonal assortments and present product plans
- Plan and implement seasonal and annual bookings and sales plans by brand and location to achieve bookings goals
- Manage in-season shipping, reorders, and service standards with account services
- Travel within territory to visit key markets and stores, conducting assortment and retail execution reviews
- Support brand managers with in-store seminars and merchandising recommendations to drive sell-through
- Recap trips with action items and proactively resolve account issues to ensure plan achievement
- Manage expenses and account financial support within budget and submit timely expense reports
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years wholesale sales or buying experience with premium or luxury brands or retailers
- Strong product knowledge in contemporary womens RTW, handbags, and footwear
- Demonstrated retail analysis, forecasting, and budget management skills
- Strong strategic selling, presentation, and written communication abilities
- Digital mindset with tactical experience in digital initiatives
- Highly motivated, organized, and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability and commitment to travel approximately 2 to 3 weeks per quarter
