Summary
The Sales Manager oversees the sales experience and operations for the jewelry department, drives team performance toward sales goals, partners with merchants and client development leads, and ensures departmental standards and controls are met. This role is on-site and reports to a Senior Group Manager.
Responsibilities
- Drive achievement of sales targets and departmental growth in line with company vision
- Oversee merchandise presentation and communication with merchant and vendor partners
- Manage team execution and address risks or roadblocks to maintain department performance
- Contribute to store strategic goals and set departmental priorities
- Review business with Buyers and develop action plans to improve results
- Establish plans and strategies with Client Development Lead(s)
- Analyze customer behaviors and trends and adjust processes and standards accordingly
- Plan and complete departmental budgets to control expenses and maximize revenue
- Support audit compliance and enforce department and stockroom controls
Requirements
- 4-6 years of relevant experience, including luxury retail fashion experience
- Proven track record of achieving sales results
- History of building, leading, motivating, and coaching teams
- Collaborative team mentality and customer focus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 10 pounds as required
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
