Summary
The Store Director leads the store team to achieve quantitative and qualitative goals through strategic vision, collaboration, and decisive leadership. Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, and develop store team members in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
- Manage performance reviews, coaching, and staff scheduling while ensuring policy adherence and payroll integrity.
- Maintain grooming, appearance, and conduct standards across the team.
- Spend at least 70% of time on the sales floor and balance administrative responsibilities.
- Implement Visual Merchandising guidelines and retail operational best practices.
- Collaborate on loss prevention, inventory management, and store systems.
- Build and maintain relationships with mall management and external stakeholders.
- Develop client development strategies and monitor market and competitor trends.
Requirements
- Ten years of experience in luxury retail or dealing with luxury items.
- Proven managerial experience developing and inspiring diverse teams.
- Ability to cultivate industry relationships and understand local marketing landscapes.
- Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and action planning skills.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn store operation software.
