Summary
The Sales Manager leads the sales experience for assigned store department(s), partnering across functions to drive sales growth, coach and develop the team, manage merchandise execution, and uphold company standards while working on-site and reporting to a Senior Group Manager.
Responsibilities
- Drive achievement of sales goals and department growth in partnership with functional leads
- Oversee merchandise presentation and manage communications with merchant and vendor partners
- Manage team execution and address risks or roadblocks to maintain department performance
- Contribute to store strategic goals and set departmental priorities
- Review business with Buyers and develop action plans to improve results
- Establish plans and strategies with Client Development Leads
- Analyze customer behaviors and trends to adjust processes and standards
- Plan and complete departmental budgets to minimize expenses and maximize revenue
- Support audit compliance and enforce department and stockroom controls
Requirements
- 4 years of relevant experience minimum with luxury retail fashion experience
- Proven track record of achieving sales results
- Experience building leading motivating and coaching teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to stand bend climb stairs and lift and carry up to 10 pounds as required
- Willingness to work evenings weekends and holidays per schedule
- Exempt overtime status understanding
