Seasonal retail cashier and sales floor support role delivering excellent customer service at the point of sale and assisting customers with purchases returns and order fulfillment. Responsibilities
- Assist customers in person and by phone with sales returns and other transactions at checkout
- Provide friendly efficient service while operating the point of sale
- Maintain the cash wrap area and sales floor by straightening lightly cleaning and restocking
- Support order fulfillment and order pick up as needed
- Stay informed on fashion trends and product knowledge to assist customer purchase decisions
- Promote store programs such as gift cards and rewards to build customer relationships
- Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced retail environment
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organization follow through and problem solving ability
- Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn new applications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Physical ability to be active 6-8 hours per shift including bending twisting squatting and reaching
- Capability to lift regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
- Comfort handling bulky items and performing frequent hand use for grasping and manipulation
