Summary
The Selling Manager - Perfume leads local selling initiatives to drive incremental sales through recruitment, coaching, training, event execution, and strong retailer partnerships. Reporting to the Regional Selling Manager, this role owns BA and Freelancer performance and implements local strategies tied to marketing calendars and product launches.
Responsibilities
- Use sales and staffing reports to identify opportunities and liabilities.
- Leverage marketing calendars new product launches and store promotions to drive sales.
- Ensure BAs and Freelancers execute branded in store events following guidelines.
- Recruit train and schedule BAs and Freelancers.
- Coach develop and motivate selling teams to meet or exceed sales plans.
- Monitor schedule adherence productivity and ROI effectiveness of the selling team.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with store management to secure preferred vendor status.
- Collaborate with Education Manager to train teams on new initiatives and selling techniques.
- Manage spending to adhere to allocated budgets with minimal under spends.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years sales experience in perfume beauty or service industry in a retail environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging all levels of an organization.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit train and manage BA and Freelancer performance.
- Self directed confident manager able to take initiative and work with limited supervision.
- Ability to analyze reports and drive results focused actions.
- Skilled at building relationships and partnering with retailer and internal teams.
- Capacity to propose lead and complete new ideas in collaboration with senior leadership.
