Summary
The Senior Brand Manager, Whiskey leads development and execution of the American Whiskey marketing strategy across the U.S., driving 360-degree brand programs rooted in consumer and business insights to build equity and profitability. This hybrid role partners with cross functional teams and agencies to deliver creative campaigns, manage A&P spend, and ensure alignment with Maison and MHUSA objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop Whiskey marketing strategies in partnership with senior leadership and align with portfolio and Maison plans
- Provide strategic direction to Commercial and cross functional teams to deliver brand goals and KPIs
- Drive development and execution of 360-degree brand programs and activations across channels
- Manage creative strategy and oversee campaign development and execution with agencies
- Oversee A&P deployment strategy and manage spend to budget and reporting targets
- Monitor brand performance metrics and ensure delivery of business objectives
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders, agency partners, distributors and third parties
- Support regional Brand Managers to deliver market specific programs on schedule
- Maintain product expertise through market visits and customer interactions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in wines spirits luxury or CPG brand marketing
- Experience with the U.S. wines and spirits three tier system preferred
- Strong commercial and financial orientation, including P&L and depletions knowledge
- Experience executing ATL and BTL programs including media experiential PR and trade activities
- Proven agency and vendor management experience
- Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder influencing skills
- Strong analytical skills for data driven decision making
- Ability to adapt and manage cross functional priorities in a fast paced environment
