Summary
Lead the design and delivery of production AI agent solutions across commerce, personalization, inventory, and customer service. Partner with business and technology teams to turn complex problems into reliable, measurable systems while shaping technical direction and mentoring engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design and build agentic solutions, including orchestration, tool-use pipelines, enterprise integrations, and agent memory and state management.
- Develop evaluation frameworks, safety guardrails, observability, and metrics for production AI systems.
- Make technical and architectural decisions that balance user impact, scalability, performance, security, and cost.
- Lead design and code reviews, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience delivering complex, scalable distributed systems.
- Production experience with LLMs, foundation model APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and AI agents or agentic workflows.
- Experience with agent frameworks, evaluation and safety practices, context engineering, and agent memory or state patterns.
- Proficiency in Python and cloud-native development on AWS and/or GCP, with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
