Server - NorthPark Center

Summary

Serve restaurant guests at the Mermaid Bar delivering warm, accommodating service to Neiman Marcus standards. This onsite role reports to the Restaurant Manager and supports a luxury retail dining experience with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Serve assigned seating section of the dining area
• Provide menu details using knowledge of food preparation and culinary terminology
• Offer guidance on wine beer and spirits including service procedures
• Interact graciously with the public and manage multiple duties simultaneously
• Process transactions following established accounting procedures and POS use
• Complete pre-shift post-shift and daily and weekly duties assigned by supervisor
• Clean and maintain restaurant and workstation

Requirements

• Prior food and beverage experience
• Customer service experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
• Ability to stand bend climb stairs and lift and carry up to 35 pounds
• Ability to follow restaurant policies procedures and point of sale operations
