Showroom Director

Summary

The Showroom Director leads the showroom to deliver exceptional client experiences while achieving financial and operational objectives. This role plans and executes the showroom business plan, drives KPI and sales target delivery, and ensures costs and controls are maintained within budget. The director also leads, coaches, and develops a high-performing team while maintaining showroom standards and acting as a communication link across the business.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every client receives exceptional service and a luxury showroom experience
• Plan and execute the showroom business plan to meet profit, floor, KPI, and department targets
• Manage discounts, costs and budget controls and identify efficiency improvements
• Performance manage, coach, mentor, and develop team members
• Organize daily and weekly routines, trainings, and out-of-hours meetings
• Maintain visual merchandising and presentation to company standards
• Manage till operations and associated transactional procedures
• Conduct competitor analysis and represent the showroom at internal and external meetings
• Ensure completion of required training and adherence to company dress code

Requirements

• Proven retail management track record, ideally within a luxury environment
• Ability to develop and implement business strategies and work to budgets
• Experience managing operating costs and identifying efficiency improvements
• Highly numerate with ability to analyse sales performance and deliver results
• Experience leading, mentoring, and coaching high-performing teams
• IT literate with experience of CRM and networking
• Jeweler or watch product knowledge and relevant retail qualifications
• Evidence of performance delivery against sales targets
