Specialist, Designated Beauty Advisor (DBA)

Summary

The Specialist, Designated Beauty Advisor (DBA) builds long-term client relationships to drive sales and loyalty for an assigned beauty brand. The role is responsible for achieving personal and brand sales targets, sharing product expertise with the selling team, and supporting brand initiatives and events. The Specialist works on the sales floor performing merchandising and client communications while ensuring compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients and exceed personal and brand sales targets
• Build and maintain a loyal personal client base through acquisition, development, and retention
• Share expert product knowledge with the store selling team and attend educational sessions
• Drive brand sales by identifying marketing opportunities, supporting event execution, and advising on assortment
• Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes, and related sales support tasks
• Communicate with personal clients via phone, mail, and electronic methods and resolve customer service issues
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, privacy, and cyber security policies

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a commission-based sales environment
• Prior luxury retail product specialist experience preferred
• Proven ability to exceed sales targets with strong interpersonal and multitasking skills
• Fully bilingual in French and English
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
