Spring Up 8 Way Hand Tie Associate

Summary

Apply seating platform to upholstered products using the 8 Way Hand Tie method to meet quality and product specifications. Work involves applying strings, webbing, edge roll or other materials to frames and using hand tools to secure components. Perform production tasks within the manufacturing environment and support other duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Apply appropriate strings, webbing, edge roll or other materials to frames using staple gun, glue, clinch gun or other methods.
• Tie springs to frames using the 8 Way Hand Tie method to meet quality and design specifications.
• Use hand tools such as staple gun, mallets, hammers and staple pullers.
• Read and follow production tickets and product specifications.
• Perform other duties as required, including tasks outside regular work area.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality while completing assigned production work.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months prior experience in a similar upholstery or hand tie role.
• Knowledge of upholstery products and production processes.
• Able to read production tickets accurately.
• Adequate communication skills to interact with team members.
• Ability to multitask with minimal supervision and strong attention to detail.
• Physically able to stand, walk, use hands and lift carry push pull or grip up to 100 lbs.
