Stock Associate

Summary

Responsible for supporting merchandise flow and logistics within the store to help achieve sales targets while maintaining stockroom organization and adhering to internal procedures and visual standards. Reports to the Store Director and participates in inventory control and stock management tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow up and control monthly turning inventories and implement specific action plans
• Prepare the annual inventory and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain consistent stock levels to support sales targets
• Receive, check, label and store incoming merchandise
• Organize and tidy stock areas and maintain appearance standards
• Check in and handle transfers between locations
• Prepare and ship returned merchandise to outlets and warehouse
• Handle packaging and small stationery orders

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a stock department
• 1-3 years of experience in a retail environment
• Luxury retail experience required
• Good knowledge of IT systems
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Retail stockroom experience is a plus
