Summary

The Toy Soldier represents FAO Schwarz and creates an engaging, memorable experience for guests. This role brings the brand to life through character, product demonstrations, store ceremonies, and private events.

Responsibilities

• Engage guests, build rapport, and remain in character while welcoming visitors and sharing local information.
• Lead the store's daily opening ceremony and participate in social media and video content as a Toy Soldier.
• Demonstrate products and lead private events or shopping experiences.
• Work a flexible schedule, including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Requirements

• Bring an engaging, theatrical personality and remain positive and in character for extended periods.
• Performance, acting, music, or dance experience and familiarity with premium retail are a plus.
• Be able to move continuously for 6-8 hours, handle merchandise, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Wear the provided Toy Soldier uniform.
