Summary
Provide elevated hospitality and wine-tasting experiences at the RH Wine Vault, build rapport with guests, and generate retail sales and memberships through expert wine knowledge and polished guest interactions.
Responsibilities
- Represent brand with professional appearance and communication to create memorable wine-tasting experiences
- Use dynamic sales approach to meet company goals and capture membership sign-ups and retail sales
- Maintain familiarity with regional wine history and partner wineries to inform guests
- Open and close the business following daily checklists
- Conduct point of sale procedures and cash handling accurately
- Maintain hospitality areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Participate in restocking and wine inventory procedures
- Share wine knowledge to educate guests and enhance rapport
Requirements
- 1+ years experience in wine sales and hospitality
- Computer proficiency and POS software experience
- WSET Court of Master Sommeliers or similar wine education certification preferred
- Developed sensory perception of wines through sight smell and taste
- Strong attention to service and hospitality detail
- Ability to multitask prioritize and manage workload in a fast paced environment
- Exemplary interpersonal communication skills written and verbal
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends evenings and holidays
