Summary

Provide loss prevention and visual security support for the store located on North Michigan Avenue, maintaining a safe environment for customers and team members while protecting company assets. This part time role focuses on observing, reporting, and responding to security incidents and potential theft.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sales floor and high risk areas for suspicious activity
• Conduct visual surveillance and document incidents accurately
• Report theft and safety incidents to management and corporate teams
• Work with store staff to deter shrink through visible presence
• Assist with interviewing suspects and collecting evidence when needed
• Coordinate with law enforcement or security vendors as required
• Follow loss prevention policies and procedures consistently

Requirements

• Prior experience in loss prevention security retail or similar environment preferred
• Ability to observe details and remain vigilant for extended periods
• Strong communication and incident reporting skills
• Ability to work a flexible part time schedule including weekends and evenings
• Professional conduct when interacting with customers and team members
