Summary
The Assistant Boutique Manager supports the Boutique Manager in driving sales, managing staff, overseeing merchandise and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role assists in achieving store objectives, developing the sales team and maintaining operational and visual standards.
Responsibilities
- Support sales team and maintain floor coverage to deliver luxury customer service
- Partner with Boutique Manager to monitor performance goals and drive adjustments
- Handle client situations and escalate issues to Boutique Manager when necessary
- Coach and develop sales associates on selling techniques and product knowledge
- Assume responsibility for the boutique in the absence of the Boutique Manager
- Maintain inventory accuracy and support loss prevention initiatives
- Assist with store operations including timekeeping, payroll and special events
- Support visual merchandising standards under direction from corporate and management
- Facilitate onboarding and scheduling to maximize team productivity
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years retail experience
- Previous high end watch or luxury sales experience preferred
- Strong organization, communication and follow up skills
- Proven ability to meet sales goals and work in a results oriented environment
- High attention to detail and professional presentation
- Ability to understand sales, budgets, goals and scheduling
- Computer proficiency
- Flexible availability to meet store scheduling needs
