The Beauty Counter Manager delivers personalized beauty experiences while maximizing sales for an assigned luxury beauty brand. This role combines sales, education, and customer service in a commissioned retail environment and requires strong product knowledge, relationship building, and digital selling skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products to meet customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain vendor relationships to drive business results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and open new loyalty accounts
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive customer environment
- Maintain counter organization, cleanliness, and customer readiness
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection skills and ability to handle customer concerns
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through abilities
- Drive to achieve sales targets and comfort with commissioned environment
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Physical ability to stand and move for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
