The Assistant Manager Beauty supports department sales and customer experience through directive selling, coaching, merchandising oversight, and executing business plans to meet volume and productivity goals.

Responsibilities

• Use directive selling to meet or exceed sales goals
• Build personal trade by developing and maintaining customer relationships
• Assist the Department Manager in achieving department volume and productivity goals
• Develop and execute a department business plan
• Coach salespeople to meet Sell More Make More goals and deliver outstanding customer service
• Act as a fashion role model and product knowledge expert for customers
• Ensure merchandising and presentation standards are met
• Ensure accurate inventory management

Requirements

• Track record of successful sales results and strong productivity
• Proficiency with directive selling techniques
• Ability to use key metrics to identify opportunities and drive volume
• Strong organizational skills and follow through
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to coach and lead sales associates
