The Beauty Counter Manager oversees sales and customer experience for an assigned beauty brand, acting as both salesperson and educator. This role drives personal and counter sales through in-store and digital selling tools, manages vendor events and maintains a welcoming counter environment. The manager collaborates with team members and vendor partners to maximize business results and customer loyalty. Work schedule is flexible and may include evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools including text and social media
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive business results
• Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
• Open new customer rewards accounts to build loyalty
• Keep counter and department organized, clean, and customer ready
• Stay current on beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through trainings
• Collaborate with team to create a welcoming and inclusive customer environment
