Summary
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, driving sales performance, supervising staff, managing inventory, and implementing company policies and omnichannel initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in achieving store sales goals and maximizing profitability
- Support implementation of company programs, policies and procedures
- Supervise and develop store team and act as a positive role model
- Perform Store Manager responsibilities in the manager's absence
- Manage merchandising, customer service and day to day store operations
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in managing sales staff
- Support inventory management and loss prevention practices
- Deliver world class customer experiences and build client relationships
Requirements
- Previous retail management experience with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Customer focused with proven ability to build client relationships
- Knowledge of fashion retail and product trends preferred
- Ability to manage merchandising, operations and omnichannel tasks
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including weekends
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
