Associate Manager

Summary

The Associate Manager supports the General Manager in driving store performance and executing strategic plans to ensure a profitable business. This role leads team development, delivers exceptional customer experiences aligned to brand standards, and oversees store operations including inventory control and execution of selling initiatives. The Associate Manager acts as a key decision maker in the GM's absence and promotes inclusive, high-performing retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the GM in analyzing business trends and implementing store initiatives to meet sales and profit goals
• Coach and develop store team members, lead recruitment and talent strategy
• Create and maintain exceptional sales floor and customer experience standards
• Manage inventory control processes and support loss prevention to achieve shrink goals
• Drive client development and community outreach for the store market
• Champion new selling technologies and omnichannel initiatives

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent is a plus; retail management experience preferred
• Proven track record of building customer relationships and coaching teams
• Strong business acumen, planning and time management skills
• Ability to operate a register, stand and move for extended periods, and lift up to 30 lbs
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and occasional travel
