Beauty Advisor

Summary

The Beauty Advisor is a commission-based retail role focused on delivering expert product knowledge and personalized service to drive brand and individual sales in a luxury beauty environment. The advisor builds and maintains long-term client relationships through proactive outreach, in-store events, and follow-up. The role requires strong sales performance, collaboration with store teams and vendors, and participation in brand education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver extraordinary customer service and consistently exceed personal and brand sales targets.
• Build and maintain a loyal personal client base by acquiring new customers and developing existing clients.
• Share expert product knowledge and attend product, vendor, and store educational sessions.
• Execute visual merchandising, floor recovery, price changes, and related sales support tasks.
• Communicate with clients about events, merchandise requests, and follow-up; resolve customer service issues.
• Maintain relationships with buyers, vendors, and selling management and ensure compliance with privacy and security measures.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a commission-based sales environment.
• Proven ability to exceed sales targets and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented luxury retail setting.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Make-up artistry or aesthetics certificate may be required for certain brands.
• Prior luxury retail experience preferred.
• Bilingual in French and English.
