Summary
The Sales Manager leads the sales experience for beauty and fragrance departments, driving team performance, partnering with merchants and client development leads, and executing departmental strategies to achieve sales and growth. This on-site role reports to a Senior Group Manager and supports departmental budgeting, merchandising, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Drive achievement of sales targets and departmental growth in partnership with functional leads
- Oversee merchandise presentation and coordinate returns and damage processes with vendor partners
- Manage team execution and coach staff to meet goals and maintain standards
- Collaborate with buyers to review business and implement action plans
- Develop and execute departmental plans with Client Development Lead partners
- Analyze customer behaviors and trends to adjust processes and focus programs
- Plan and manage departmental budgets to minimize expenses and maximize revenue
- Support audit compliance and enforce department and stockroom controls
- Manage product placement and sales promotion within the department
Requirements
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in luxury retail fashion
- Proven track record of achieving results
- Experience building, leading, motivating, and coaching teams
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 10 pounds as needed
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
