The Beauty Counter Manager delivers personalized beauty experiences while driving sales for an assigned luxury brand on the sales floor. This role combines selling, teaching, and customer relationship building in a commissioned retail environment and supports vendor events and promotions.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
- Open new customer rewards accounts to build customer loyalty
- Maintain department organization, cleanliness, and customer readiness
- Keep current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection and proactive problem solving skills
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow through
- Drive to meet sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Capability for continuous movement and frequent bending and reaching during shifts
- Frequent use of hands for fine manipulation and ability to lift up to 25 pounds
