Summary
The Beauty Counter Manager leads sales and customer experiences for assigned beauty brands, blending selling and teaching to maximize counter performance. This role focuses on personalized makeup and skincare services, team collaboration, vendor relations, and meeting sales goals through in-store and digital tools. The manager also maintains counter presentation and executes vendor events and promotions.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and open customer rewards accounts
- Keep department organized, clean, and customer-ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge via trainings
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive customer environment
- Work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application, skincare, and customer service
- Ability to connect with customers and proactively handle concerns

- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and technology
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to perform continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift and lift up to 25 pounds
