Beauty Counter Manager

Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager leads sales and service for assigned luxury beauty brands, delivering personalized makeup and skincare consultations while managing counter operations and vendor partnerships. This role balances direct selling, coaching teammates, and administrative duties to achieve counter sales goals and create a welcoming customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product recommendations tailored to customer needs
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events, promotions, and build strong vendor relationships
• Coach and collaborate with team members to maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment
• Maintain counter presentation, handle sales, refunds, exchanges, and enroll customers in loyalty program

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, makeup application, skincare, and excellent customer service skills
• Strong ability to connect with customers, handle concerns with empathy, and build customer loyalty
• Organizational skills, multitasking, follow-through, and drive to achieve sales targets using networking and technology
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends and physical ability to stand and move for long periods; lift up to 25 pounds
