Summary
Responsible for driving sales and delivering personalized beauty experiences at the Clinique counter while coaching and supporting team members. Acts as both a salesperson and educator to build customer loyalty through in-store and digital engagement, vendor events, and product expertise.
Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses to recommend products aligned with customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive business results
- Manage sales transactions including refunds exchanges and Nordstrom Rewards account openings
- Keep the counter organized clean and customer ready
- Stay current on beauty trends products and industry knowledge through trainings
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Perform physical tasks including lifting reaching and frequent movement throughout shift
Requirements
- Passion for customer service and beauty including makeup application and skincare
- Excellent ability to connect with customers and handle customer concerns with empathy
- Strong multitasking organization and follow through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership accountability and initiative
- Capacity for continuous movement and physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds
- Comfort working in a commissioned sales environment
