Responsibilities
- Provide makeup applications and skincare analyses tailored to customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales targets using in-store and digital selling tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
- Keep the beauty counter organized, clean, and customer ready
- Use networking and technology including text and social media to build customer following
- Train and collaborate with team members to create an inclusive customer environment
- Maintain product and industry knowledge through trainings
Requirements
- Passion for beauty including makeup application and skincare
- Excellent customer connection and ability to handle customer concerns
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in digital selling
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours per shift
- Ability to lift regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
