The Beauty Counter Manager delivers personalized beauty experiences while driving sales for an assigned luxury brand. This role balances selling and teaching, manages vendor events, and supports both in-store and digital customer engagement to build loyalty and meet performance goals.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses to recommend products aligned with customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business results
- Handle sales transactions including sales, refunds, and exchanges
- Open new customer loyalty accounts and build customer following in-store and digitally
- Maintain department organization and cleanliness to keep customer-ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive customer environment
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, trends, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection skills and ability to handle customer concerns
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through abilities
- Drive to achieve sales goals and use networking and technology for selling
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Physical ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours with frequent bending and reaching
- Ability to lift items regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
