Summary
The Department Manager Womens leads and mentors a team to deliver an exceptional client experience, drives department sales and business development, and ensures operational and visual merchandising standards are met. This role represents the brand in the marketplace and partners with store leadership to recruit, develop, and retain talent while meeting sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor Client Advisors to deliver the Fendi Client Journey and achieve individual and team goals.
- Set sales targets, monitor performance, and implement development plans for high potential talent.
- Recruit talent and support succession planning with the Store Manager.
- Drive sales within the department and support cross selling and client retention strategies.
- Build and maintain a personal client portfolio and encourage team clienteling.
- Manage sales floor operations and client hosting to optimize business opportunities.
- Collaborate on visual merchandising moves and participate in floor rotations.
- Ensure policies, procedures, and inventory management practices are followed.
- Support staff planning to align coverage with traffic and sales objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years related experience, luxury retail preferred.
- Proven drive for results and goal oriented sales leadership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using POS systems and inventory management functions.
- Ready to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Organizational skills and strong digital literacy.
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
- RTW experience and foreign language skills are a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
