Lead sales and customer experience for an assigned luxury beauty brand at a department store counter, combining makeup application, skincare consultation, and sales coaching to build customer loyalty and meet sales goals. Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and enroll customers in rewards program
- Collaborate with team to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers
- Maintain counter organization, cleanliness, and customer readiness
- Stay current on beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through provided trainings
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare with strong customer service focus
- Excellent ability to connect with customers and proactively handle concerns
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and comfort working in a commissioned sales environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift and perform frequent bending and reaching
- Ability to lift regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
