Summary

Provide personalized beauty experiences in a luxury beauty department by engaging customers, conducting makeup applications and skincare consultations, and driving sales both in-store and digitally. Maintain product and industry knowledge and contribute to a welcoming team environment. Support department readiness through organization and customer service tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses tailored to customer goals
• Recommend products and build customer relationships to drive sales
• Use digital tools including text and social media for in-store and digital selling
• Book appointments and promote in-store beauty events and services
• Manage sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
• Open new customer Nordstrom Rewards accounts to build loyalty
• Keep the department organized, clean, and customer-ready

• Excellent customer service and ability to connect with customers
• Empathy and respect during makeup and skincare services
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
• Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and technology
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Experience selling beauty products or comparable retail sales experience
