Provide personalized beauty experiences by conducting makeup applications and skincare analyses while engaging customers to understand their needs and drive sales for luxury and on trend beauty brands. Create relationships both in store and digitally, book appointments for beauty services and maintain a welcoming department environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare consultations tailored to customer goals
- Recommend products and upsell in store and through digital channels including text and social media
- Book appointments and drive sales for in store beauty events and services
- Set and achieve individual sales goals and participate in performance based incentives
- Manage sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges while enrolling customers in rewards program
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Maintain department organization and cleanliness to ensure customer readiness
- Keep current on beauty trends and product knowledge through provided trainings
Requirements
- Passion for beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare
- Strong customer connection skills and ability to handle customer concerns with empathy
- Excellent multitasking, organization, and follow through
- Drive to meet sales goals and use networking and technology for selling
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Physical ability to be on feet continuously and perform frequent bending and reaching
- Capable of lifting items regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
