Summary
Provide personalized beauty experiences in a luxury retail environment by engaging customers, conducting makeup applications and skincare analyses, and driving sales both in-store and through digital channels. Maintain product knowledge and support beauty events and services while contributing to a welcoming team atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare consultations tailored to customer goals
- Engage customers to understand needs and recommend products to maximize sales
- Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services
- Sell in-store and digitally using texts and social media to meet sales goals
- Manage sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
- Keep the beauty department organized, clean, and customer ready
- Participate in trainings to maintain current knowledge of trends and products
- Open new loyalty accounts and build customer relationships
Requirements
- Passion for beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer service and ability to connect with diverse customers
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and use of networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand and move continuously for 6 to 8 hours per shift
- Capability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 25 pounds
