Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses tailored to customer goals
- Recommend products and build customer followings in-store and through digital channels
- Set and achieve sales goals and use selling tools including text and social media
- Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services
- Manage sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges while opening Nordstrom Rewards accounts
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Keep the department organized, clean, and customer-ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection skills and ability to handle customer concerns
- Empathy and respect when providing makeup and skincare services
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and follow through abilities
- Drive to achieve sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Capable of continuous movement for 6-8 hours with frequent bending and reaching
- Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
