Beauty Stylist - Woodfield Shopping Center

Summary

The Beauty Stylist drives beauty sales across brands by using demonstration and artistry techniques to recommend products and services. This role focuses on appointment based and in store selling while building lasting customer relationships and maintaining product expertise. The position requires a passion for product, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in store and digital channels using selling tools and social media
• Conduct service consultations to learn customer preferences and needs
• Build and maintain relationships with customers through follow up and event invitations
• Grow sales through appointment based selling and opening rewards accounts
• Create in store events and network within the community
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and product knowledge across Beauty brands
• Demonstrate products and provide one on one customer service and artistry
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and handling merchandise during shifts

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Beauty industry experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization, follow through, and initiative
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Capable of continuous movement for 6 to 8 hours and frequent use of hands
• Ability to lift regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
