Boutique Director

Summary

The Boutique Director leads and manages a high performing boutique team to deliver exceptional client experience while achieving sales and profit objectives. This role plans and executes the boutique business plan, controls costs within budget, maintains operating processes and visual standards, and communicates effectively across the business. The Director coaches and develops staff, drives KPIs and ensures compliance with transactional and dress code standards. The role may require business related travel and occasional long hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead and role model exceptional client service for internal and external clients
• Plan and execute boutique business objectives and KPIs to meet profit targets
• Manage discounts, costs and operating budgets
• Performance manage colleagues and provide coaching and development
• Oversee visual merchandising and maintain brand standards
• Manage till operations and transactional procedures
• Organize daily and weekly tasks and delegate as required
• Deliver and participate in boutique training and VM changes
• Represent the brand at internal and external meetings

Requirements

• Considerable retail management experience preferably in a luxury environment
• Proven track record of sales achievements and performance delivery
• Jewelry product knowledge
• Ability to develop and implement business strategies and work to budgets
• Strong numerical skills to analyse sales performance
• Experience leading, mentoring and coaching high performing teams
• IT literate with CRM and networking experience
