Boutique Operations Associate

Summary

Reporting to the Boutique Director, the Boutique Operations Associate maintains boutique operations and supports profitability by receiving, handling, and managing inventory in a timely and organized manner. The role ensures stock accuracy, organizes the stockroom and on-floor inventory, processes deliveries and transfers, and manages shipping and VAT documentation. The associate also provides administrative support and helps formalize operating procedures to ensure compliance with company processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure permanent accuracy of store stock and organize weekly and monthly cycle counts
• Maintain efficient stockroom organization and impeccable on-floor presentation
• Receive and control deliveries from the central warehouse and manage stock transfers between stores
• Organize end-of-season returns and support stock requests from team members
• Participate in morning team briefings and share operational updates
• Manage and follow up on shipping documents and VAT paperwork
• Provide administrative support including booking couriers, deliveries, transfers, and completing store supply orders
• Support the Boutique Director in updating and formalizing operating procedures and ensuring compliance with company processes

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales; jewellery or high-end luxury product experience preferred
• Strong understanding of customer service needs and ability to build customer trust
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lb regularly; occasional use of a ladder, reaching and bending to access product
