Summary
The Commercial Director leads and drives the commercial performance of The Landmark, ensuring sustainable sales growth, exceptional client experience, and strong operational execution. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership to activate commercial opportunities, build high-performing teams, and embed an appointment-driven, clienteling culture. The Director partners with the Market Vice President and cross-functional teams to translate strategy into priorities and measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive sales performance across The Landmark to achieve targets and sustainable growth.
- Translate global and regional strategy into actionable priorities with clear accountability and disciplined execution.
- Drive product category performance and strategic initiatives with focus on icon growth, client recruitment, and quality of business.
- Embed an appointment-driven commercial engine, improving conversion, productivity, and clienteling practices.
- Engage personally with top clients and ensure a consistent best-in-class luxury client experience across all touchpoints.
- Build, coach, and develop Sales Directors, Team Managers, and leaders to strengthen succession and performance management.
- Ensure operational discipline, compliance, and execution while identifying efficiencies to enhance productivity and client experience.
- Act as a key member of The Landmark leadership team and represent the location externally to strengthen brand positioning.
Requirements
- Executive with 10+ years of luxury or consumer goods business management experience.
- Proven experience in luxury retail categories such as jewelry, apparel, accessories, or cosmetics.
- Strong business and financial acumen with a track record of driving sales and profitability.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, attract, and develop diverse, high-performing retail teams.
- Client-centric mindset with proven success developing client opportunities and maintaining relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
