Summary

The Sales Associate develops deep, long-lasting relationships with customers to drive sales, service and loyalty. Compensation includes a base hourly rate plus commission and is directly tied to individual sales results. This in-store role in Montreal focuses on client acquisition, personalized service, and supporting merchandising and store initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver extraordinary customer service and exceed sales and service targets
• Build and maintain a loyal personal client base through proactive outreach and follow-up
• Attend product and vendor trainings and Holt Renfrew educational sessions
• Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes and related sales support tasks
• Communicate regularly with personal clients about events, requests and follow-ups
• Resolve customer service issues and escalate to selling management when needed
• Comply with Health & Safety policies and assist with other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in a commission-based luxury sales environment
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Highly collaborative team orientation and strong interpersonal skills
• Skilled in using social media and multiple technology channels to engage clients
• Broad product knowledge across merchandise categories and awareness of fashion trends
• Proactive about new merchandise and maximizing selling opportunities
